Dotted around the Marina are many recreational and commercial parks. Most of these areas are frequented by tourists and locals alike and mostly on the weekends and holidays. Some parks feature free weekend music concerts during the summer months. There is plenty of parking but mostly metered, however some are validated by local merchants.

Admiralty Park

A long narrow strip of a park that runs adjacent to the main drag, Admiralty Way. The park features walk paths, benches, and an exercise area. The main function of the park is a tree shaded bike path link through the Marina to the Venice Beach bike path.

Burton Chase Park

This is the hidden jewel of recreation areas in the Marina. Located at the end of Mindinao Way, it is a large park and the focus of any seasonal activities like the boat show or the summer concert series.

Burton Chase Park features tree shaded foot paths, open and covered picnic areas with barbecue pits, a concession stand, a community activity building, off-pier fishing, fish cleaning areas, boating guest docks and an information center. Metered parking on weekends and holidays ... weekdays free.

Mother's Beach

Situated in the northwest corner of the Marina, it is an inland beach. The beach features: swimming area, covered picnic areas, a playground for tots, small boat rentals, and a concession stand. Nearby are the Cheesecake Factory, The Foghorn Motel and a convenience store.

Fisherman's Village

This is the commercial park area in the Marina. Constructed to look like a New England seaport with lighthouse, it contains restaurants, concession stands, a variety of curio and sweet shops, harbor cruises, boat rentals, fishing platforms, and a seaside strand.

Aubrey E. Austin Park

A small park at the south west corner of the Marina it features a shady area as well as a long promenade that stretches between the main channel and Venice Beach. Relaxing area for walking exercise and viewing the boat traffic in and out of the Marina.
