Bumble Bee

Bill's first particular machine was one that in Spanish was called the "Abejarron" (Bumble bee?).  It was a two-seater plane. It could convert to a gyrocopter  It could take off vertically be means of refillable rockets.  It appears only in the first five novels.

Porpose?

The second airplane was called "Marsopa" ("Porpoise"?) and it was a submersible fighter that flooded its floats and could maneuver underwater. It had a folding periscope. It appears only in  "The Phantom of the Fog"

The Hellion
It  appears in"Blood over Borneo" and "The Secret Empire" There are not many details about this plane; it seems to be some kind of medium attack plane  with two engines of 2.000 hp, it had an hangar for the Eaglet, and a rear artillery turret  activated by remote control with a mechanical system of periscopes and mirrors.

Another picture can be found in the Eaglet section

The Early Snorters
I don't know enough about these. Except that they had the familiar pair of diesels. 1,200 hp apiece this time. Apparently Bill Barnes designed these.
