Charlie Jeffreys' Ace of Diamonds
Charlie Jefferies sent me these, all the way from Britain.. He's the
fellow who took the fun pix of Peter Michel & his Wally Simmers
Twin Pusher . The model is a 1958 G Woolls design powered by a Mills diesel.
He writes " it's based on the Warren Young configuration & flies great,
very stable."
Just when I have absorbed this he sends the following.......
accompanied by this....
"attached pic from last w/end (Sept 9&10 2000 ) Old Warden event - entries of Howard Boys' trophy comp for f/f & r/c unorthodox, red/yellow Ace of diamonds in background is mine." Lots of neat odd over there. So how many can you Know It Alls identify?
I took the liberty of cybermagically removing the usual clutter of aluminum lawn chairs, feet, toolboxes....
Thank you Charlie!
Chris has sent some gorgeous plans. Go
see 'em
More
on the Ace Of Diamonds
A large file with the Aeromodeler article and some good stuff on the
Edwards Rhomboidal Biplane. Definately first class odd.
Charlie Jefferies sent me some more information and here it is. I apologize
for the large files but I was unable to bully my freebe OCR into making
any sense of it.
But be warned these are GIF copies of magazine pages BIG!
