Twin Pusher Plans
I have received permission from Frank Zaic to post plans from the Orange Books. These are all small 3vus with dimensions on the plans. I will try to post them as GIF files that I hope will print on a sheet of  letter paper. It's up to the builder to enlarge the plans. You can cart a copy down to the local blueprint place, but I just draw them up on a sheet of newsprint.  This is how they did it in the thirties and the plans are simple enough. You can get a lifetime supply of newsprint on a roll at the local newspaper.

I cannot recommend these books too much. Get one and you'll be hooked.

The Mott. This is a very simple Twin Pusher that first appeared in American Boy Magazine, April 1930.   I have made a couple for indoors. They build quickly  and fly well. A half size one flies in a gym.

The picture on the 1998 certificate on the Results Page (Click)  is of a Mott.

Chet Bukowsky(sp?)  bought this to my attention. He comments that the pitch on the prop as shown on the original plan is too high.

The Ott Cloud Chaser. I like this one. I've made many of them and they were all good  and competitive flyers.  In this, and the Mott, the wings are too weak to fly in the wind without risking a broken one. But they are very pleasant in light air.

Dave Aronstein's Indoor Twin Pusher  This interesting one is a modern Twin Pusher designed by Dave Aronstein. The plan has been around. I'm told it's quite popular with the Seattle guys at Lake Union. Don Carron sent me the plan.. I added Rob Porters fine CAD.
