"Plans" &c for the Tailess Mystery Pusher
You should be able to print these by eliminating the margins in your printer
set up, clicking the image,
selecting [View Image] and printing. At least that's how to do it with
Netscape.
If anyone can't do a GIF let me know and I'll try to work something
out.

There is a likeliness that I've screwed something up. Getting a GIF
of the right size was at the very edge of my nerd envelope. Let me know.
There is a copy of the Koptonak Drawing and maybe more on the WINDY
SOCK site. In any case it's a fine site and well worth checking out.

This is a GIF of the the plan for the original 1932 Version. John Koptonak
drew this plan for his excellent news letter for the Norwich Flying Aces,
"Wingovers and Wallbangers. I've seen one built this way and it was a bit
of a disappointment.
I figured it needed lightness and bigness so I enlarged this plan 122%
in a Xerox Machine and made
stick and tissue wings. My working drawing for the wings appears below.
I made the wings of 1/16 square, small camber ribs, and alligator hide.
Struts
I made the struts of 1/16". I made the right and left ones as complete
separate units and glued them to the wings at the dihedral break. I made
a each thusly. I made a parallelegram, slightly distorted to
build in the negative incidence . And then added a diagonal . I braced
the corners with scrap 1/32 glued over the joint . Then I cut away most
of the centers of the bottom of the parallelgram and glued on the wings.
My motor stick is a piece of 1/4" x 1/8".
-
It has a hand carved propof fairly low pitch. This was a lucky guess
as the model does a twisty roll with too much torque.
-
CG under the center of the top wing.
-
Mine has a trim tab dangling from the top right wing
-
The current rubber seems to be a loop of 1/16, 1.2 times the length
of the motor stick.
I realise this might be a bit difficult to follow. So feel free to
ask questions.
