Is QCSC DAS great for no-start troubleshooting? YES

In the data file above, we can see the 3.8L SEFI Ford having the ignition switch pass through run to the crank position, then beginning to crank, pulsing all injectors simultaneously (we only need to watch one injector for this lesson), and then starting and switching over immediately to sequential injection. QCSC DAS does not begin acquiring data until you turn the key to 'on'. The entire crank-start-run process takes about one second.

On one screen we have the reference, fuel, and ignition signals. Seeing the process is invaluable to students and 'B' mechanics. Because QCSC DAS is PC based your helper can save the file for training or diagnostic pu rposes.
