system and FTX (UNIX - SVR4), communications, reliable fault-tolerant
hardware. Code/audit/install fixes to the VOS operating system and/or approve
fixes proposed by maintenance engineers. Edit and publish external service
newsletter. Edit and publish web pages for advice and guidance to CAC
personnel. Support Stratus, IBM System 88, and Olivetti CPS/32 customers
worldwide. Design and implement tools and techniques to improve quality of
support provided to customers. Provide technical advice and surveillance
regarding security of Stratus internal computer systems. Provide mentoring,
guidance and technical training to other support personnel in the Customer
Assistance Center, including 24-hour on-call for critical situations.
