Daions Online Semi-Hollowbody Guitar Page

The Headhunter

Headhunter... quite a fitting name for a guitar aimed so squarely at the Gibson ES-335! The Daion semi-hollow body featured a unique construction that allowed the strings to pass through the body for more sustain and bottom end.

All these fine 555s have, or still reside with Bruce Diamond. A few of them are available, too. Bruce's addy is on the Homepage if you feel the urge.

In this rear view, the ferules for the strings can be seen in the back of the guitar.

A nice flame-top finish 555.

The Goldtop was a $50 option. I can't even play a guitar and I want this one so bad I can taste it!

Just absloutely BEAUTIFUL!!

Ever seen a DAION LEFTY?

This one belongs to Kevin Kalupson, but probably not for long, it's on Ebay right now. I'll update with the new owner, when it sells.

Note that Daion didn't pull the Rickenbacker method and just flip the parts on a right-hand neck. The headstock is reversed, too.

As always, if you have a different color, a different model or a different option, please send a pic or any information to the address the bottom of the home page.
