There will be sessions directed toward the caller that already has a handle on the basics of calling and for the new caller just entering the art of calling.

For the new caller:
HOW TO CALL, WHAT TO CALL , USING THE MUSIC, VOICE, SINGING CALLS, PATTER, METHODS OF CHOREOGRAPHIC CONTROL, THE MECHANICS OF CHOREOGRAPHY, EQUIPMENT AND MUCH, MUCH MORE TO HELP YOU GET STARTED IN CALLING.

For the experienced caller:
THE SIMPLICITY IN SIGHT RESOLUTION, CALLING MORE WITH FEWER MOVES
HOW TO BE A SUCCESSFUL CLUB CALLER, PREPARING THE NEW DANCER FOR THE ACTIVITY, MUSIC (TRADITIONAL & ALTERNATIVE), SHARING THE MIC WITH OTHER CALLERS (DUETS), PROGRAMMING FOR SUCCESS, HOW TO BUILD ON WORKSHOP MATERIAL (TIP THEMES), AND ADDING PLUS TO YOUR PROGRAM.

                                               CIRCLE EIGHT RANCH

Circle Eight Ranch is a Square Dance Campground nestled in the Cascade Mountains just over the Snoqualmie Pass from Seattle Washington (I-90). It is a beautiful setting of tall fir trees and crystal flowing mountain springs. For those that have watched the popular tv series "Northern Exposure", you'll recognize the area. Many epsiodes were taped at the Ranch and the nearby town of Rosalyn. It will be a beautiful place to enjoy a summer vacation and enhance your calling skills at the same time.
In addition to RV spaces with full hookups, the Ranch has two rustic 'A' frame cabins which will be available for rental during the school. The Ranch is eight miles west of the town of Cle Elum, Washington. In Cle Elum you'll find many fine motels and restaurants.
