Rick's sister, Aileen, died Thursday, January 25, 2007 after many years of dealing with cancer and other illnesses. She was a very sweet lady and will definitely be missed, but she has now gone to be with her Lord Jesus, whom she loved very much during this life.

My mother, Olena Ham, went home to be with the Lord on July 14, 2005 at her home. I was blessed with the privilege to be holding her hand at the time. It happened at the very same time of day that I usually called her every day for at least a whole year beforehand, at about 9:45 am. After a long coma-like sleep, she opened her eyes and I said "Good morning mother. I'm not on the phone today. I'm right here." She smiled and then she passed away. Here is her obituary:

It doesn't seem like it but this will be the 4th Christmas without Mother. It's just hasn't been the same without her. She made it Christmas for her family.

I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. It's onset was October 2004. Since being under the care of a wonderful physician and rheumatologist, I am much better.

Our grandson, Daniel, is now 6 years old. He especially loves Thomas the Train and airplanes. He is very smart and creative. He loves to put things, like train track and Legos together. He loves cars and computer games.

Our grandson, Nathaniel Brodie is now 6 years old. He especially loves computer games, Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean, Dinasaurs, and is now in Pre-school. He is also very smart and has lots of energy.

They both love books and for someone to read a book to them and show them the pictures. They also love to climb. They also like to push the buttons on the TV and play their program on the computer. We are very proud grandparents. They are both going to be big boys and are both so smart. We thank God that they are both healthy and strong,

Our grandson, Michael, is now 3 years old. He is a beautiful, healthy little boy and also loves to play with Thomas the Train with his brother, Danny. He can say many words and jumps up and down when his grandparents come to visit. He loves to sing Karaoke and dance.

We are also so proud of our children and our other grandchildren, Matt, Rebecca, and Sarah.

The Lord has blessed us so much with beautiful, healthy grandchildren. Thank God for all of his great blessings!!
