BAKER, Joseph - Private, Co. D. Born in Folston, FL. Enlisted 30 Oct `63 at Craney Island, Portsmouth, VA; a 26 year old Laborer. Mustered in 27 Nov `63. Detailed Dec `63 as Regimental Headquarters Cook. Detailed 26 March `64 to recruiting duty at Plymouth, NC. Captured at Plymouth, NC. Exchanged. Rejoined regiment after 20 day furlough. Deserted 19 June `65 at Portsmouth, VA.

BAKER, William F. - Major. Born in Bingham, Somerset Co., Maine. First commissioned as Captain in Sept 1861 in the 9th Maine Infantry. Mustered out 20 March 1863. Appointed Major in the 10th USCT on 9 Nov 1863 & mustered in 6 Dec 1863 at Fortress Monroe, VA. Captured 20 April 1864 at Plymouth, NC. Paroled 3 Aug `64 at Charleston, SC. Note - 2nd Lieut. John A. Reed, 2nd NC Union Volunteers, stated that a Major Baker from the "10th Maine" came with him to Plymouth from Roanoke Island on April 18th, 1864.

BROWN, Owen - Corporal, Co. H. Born a slave in North West, VA. Mustered in 11 Dec 1863 at Craney Island, Portsmouth, VA; a 45 year old farmer. Detailed 26 March `64 to recruiting duty at Plymouth, NC. Captured 20 April 1864 at Plymouth, NC. Paroled 21 April 1865 at Point Lookout, Maryland.

BURROUGHS, Frederick - Private, Co. G. Born in Castville, VA. Mustered in 20 Dec 1863 at Craney Island, Portsmouth, VA; a 23 year old farmer. Detailed 26 March `64 to recruiting duty at Plymouth, NC. Captured at Plymouth, NC. Dropped from the rolls 31 Aug `65. Also listed as BURROWS.

DRUMMER, George - Private, Co. G. Enlisted 9 Dec `63 at Craney Island, Portsmouth, VA; a 21 year old Farmer. Detailed 26 March `64 to recruiting duty at Plymouth, NC. Captured 24 April `64 at Plymouth, NC. Dropped from the rolls 31 Aug `65.

HOUSE, Henry W. - Private, Co. G. Born in Copeville, VA. Enlisted 13 Dec `63 at Craney Island, Portsmouth, VA; a 19 year old Farmer. Detailed 26 March `64 to recruiting duty at Plymouth, NC. Captured at Plymouth, NC. Confined at the hospital in Goldsboro, NC where he escaped & returned to company in May `65. Discharged June `65. Married Mary Ash on 22 Feb 1875 in Lawrence, Essex Co., MA. Worked in the U.S. Navy Yard at Norfolk, VA. Mary died 20 Feb 1920 and Henry died 27 Dec 1929 of Pneumonia at the National Soldier's Home, VA. Buried in Portsmouth, VA.

LAFAYETTE, Marcus - Private, Co. F. Born in Norfolk, VA. Enlisted 3 Dec `63 at Craney Island, Portsmouth, VA; a 35 year old Farmer. Mustered in 17 Dec `63. Detailed 26 March `64 to recruiting duty at Plymouth, NC. Captured 16 April `64 at Plymouth, NC. No information since. Dropped from rolls 31 Aug `65.

NICHOLS, Frederick W. - Private, Co. H. Freeborn about 1842 in Norfolk Co., VA, the son of Sarepta Nichols. Enlisted 10 Dec `63 at Craney Island, Portsmouth, VA; a 21 year old Farmer from St. Brides Parish, Norfolk Co., VA. Detailed 26 March `64 to recruiting duty at Plymouth, NC. Captured 16 April `64 at Plymouth, NC. Held prisoner until 15 March `65 when he escaped and reported to the Union lines. Married to Caroline. Frederick died 25 Oct 1880 at Butts Road, Norfolk Co., VA. Also listed as NICHOLDS.

PARMENTER, Daniel Webster - 2nd Lieutenant, Co. G. Born about 24 Oct 1841 in Framingham, Middlesex Co., MA, the son of Daniel & Emily Parmenter. Attended College in 1860. First enlisted 18 July `62 into Co. H, 32nd MA Infantry; a 21 year old Farmer from Framingham, MA. Mustered in 11 Aug `62 as a Sergeant. Appointed 2nd Lieut in the 10th USCT on 7 Nov `63. Discharged from the 32nd MA for promotion 10 Nov `63. Mustered into Co. G on 26 Nov `63. Detailed 26 March `64 to recruiting duty at Plymouth, NC. Captured 20 April `64 at Plymouth, NC. No information since. Supposed dead. Dropped from rolls 31 Aug `65.

POWELL, Henry - Private, Co. H. Born a slave in Halifax, NC. Enlisted 11 Dec `63 at Craney Island, Portsmouth, VA; a 21 year old Farmer. Detailed 26 March `64 to recruiting duty at Plymouth, NC. Captured April `64 at Plymouth, NC. Dropped from rolls 31 Aug `65.

Captured April `64 at Plymouth, NC. Dropped from rolls 31 Aug `65.

WILSON, Josiah - Corporal, Co. F. Born about 1838 in Norfolk Co., VA. Enlisted 3 Dec `63 at Craney Island, Portsmouth, VA; a 24 year old Farmer from St. Brides Parish, Norfolk Co., VA. Mustered in 17 Dec `63 at Fort Monroe, VA as a Private. Promoted 1 May `64 to Corporal. Detailed 26 March `64 to recruiting duty at Plymouth, NC. Captured April `64 at Plymouth, NC. Prisoner of war until released 21 April `65 at Johnson's surrender. Mustered out to date 17 July `65 when he returned home and reported by letter to the commanding officer of his company.
