Well William Uncle Gordon is
still getting better and I think
will get well a gain if he does
not get a backset I have not
been to see him for more than
a week now. I was there to set
up with him two nights while
he was so bad I set up the
whole night boath nights that
I was there. the first night I
was there when I went in the room
to speak to him he inquired of
me where you were. I told him
you had went back to the army;
you had started that morning, he
said that he had wanted to come
and spend a half a day with you
while you were a home, as he got
sick he could not. he thought you
would not have much longer to stay
but he did not expect to live to see
you back a gain. Well I must close
