This page will document the 156-year-old paper trail between the authors of the Civil War Letters of William and Mary Strieby and the children of Jeff & Kim Roller.

Many of the links from here on are password protected. When prompted, enter the word "Roller" as the username (uppercase R, no quotes). If you know my family well, you will know that growing up we had two dogs with the same name. Enter the name of those dogs (all lower case) as the password. If you don't know this information, please contact me.

Begin with the last page of the last Civil War Letter written by Mary (Fordyce) Strieby where her infant daughter Margaret is named for the first time. You can also read the details of her birth in a letter written from Mary that provides the date, weight and size of the baby.
