Basics of B+P
Return to CSGreeley’s Trade Page
·
“B+P” stands for “Blanks and Postage”
·
The premise of B+P is that you get music for the
cost of the discs and postage
·
Please never send me any money…This is not a
for-profit exchange
·
The typical routine of a B+P exchange is
o Contact
is made and I agree to copy music for you
o After
I agree, I will email you my work address, which is where you should send the
package
o You
send to me the following:
§
Your list of desired shows/CDRs (max of 6-8
discs)
§
Your email address
§
A self addressed padded envelope (with enough
postage on it for me to return it with the discs)
§
Your discs (again, max of 6-8 discs)
o After
I receive your package, I email you that I got it
o The
turn-around time is a few days
o After
your get the discs, you email me and tell me how wonderful I am…
·
Common problems are:
o No
return postage
§
I will keep the discs until I get a the postage
from you
§
DO NOT SEND MONEY…I will not be responsible for
it’s loss
§
If you do not send enough postage...I will keep
the discs!
§
I
will not buy postage for you
o No
discs
§
No discs…No deal
o No
email address
§
I can’t contact you
o No
list
§
Pain for me to contact you and find out what you
want
o International
B+P
§
Either you send me enough US cash (usually
$5-10)
§
You send me 2:1 discs (must be good quality
CDRs)
·
As this is done from the goodness of my heart,
if you throw in an extra blank or two for my troubles, I’d appreciate that (not
required though)
