Our home grown champ, AM/CAN CH Crossroads As The Crow Flys CD TD, fits his nickname of 'Smiley Miley' to the letter. He is the athlete in the family and has to be the happiest dog I have ever met. He is a gentle soul with a love of life that never falters....A wonderful combination of our Emma and Bunny Millikin's remarkable boy AM/CAN CH Wingmaster's Wingover Coot CD MH AM/CAN WCX. Miles has Coot's elegance and drive, as well as his silly habit of dancing feet.
In the show ring, Miles has tremendous attitude and an ever wagging tail that judges seem to love. That attitude in combination with his excellent type and beautiful head and coat have made for some exciting wins.
In obedience, Miles is AWESOME to watch. His heeling is like that of a Lipizzon stallion, flashy, prancy and proud. He enjoys every moment you spend with him and is so confident that he's sure to excel, no matter what the task. Miles earned his AKC CD, with style by placing fourth in Novice B with a 194 1/2 score. We just missed the run off for 2nd place by half a point! Training sessions will continue to include proofing and fine tuning exercises to help him achieve his HIT potential. Miles also earned his CKC Tracking Dog Title easily, completing his track in a record 3 minutes! Now, we're on to X work and more agility training in the coming year. When it comes to versatility.......Miles is your man!
A word of caution: If you ever have the pleasure of meeting Smiley Miley..... never say the word ARUBA!......Miles will spring into the air and cover your face with kisses!
