My retirement goal: "to catch fish, and eat fish" ("Snooky" by Don Blanding). If the U.S.S. Hornet, CVSG-57, VS-37, S2F Trackers, saltwater fishing, cruising anywhere, the Gulf Coast between Boca Grande and Marco Island, cold beer or good red wine stirs your blood, drop me a short count. "The Secret Of The Sea" by Cap'n
Carmen The sea never ceases it's call to share it's
secret with us all. Listen! And you will enjoy the
reward! We are mystically drawn, by a message so
fragile, it's Oft' lost when we near. We are tricked into doing, not stopping to
hear. We are lured into action, to work or to
play, Sent searching for something, set on a course
that's astray. For you see, the way to the treasure is just...
to be. We try so hard, we want to control, but that's
not the way. This gift, this prize of the sea, must be free
to caress the soul. For the moment alone, is the blessing
itself. Frail, cherished, then vanished, like a sprite
or an elf. A sweet repose, hidden from those, too busy to
see, Is the Secret Of The Sea. |
