Suddenly overwhelmed and entrapped by sediment and in the very act of eating. Literally billions of fish are found in the fossil record with scales, fins, intact. They were trapped suddenly -- they did not have time to rot or get eaten by scavengers. I emphasize this does not happen normally. Dead fish are eaten by scavengers or rot -- they don't fossilize. The great Genesis Flood of Noah and the Ark was for real. Only the Great Flood had the global power, speed, and reach to explain the billions of fossil fish and other creatures that are found in the fossil record. Realize that 95% of all fossils are marine forms. It was a watery catastrophe. Visit Dinosaur National Park, in the US, and read the display material in the visitor's center -- that clams -- not dinosaurs are the most numerous fossil found at the park. The world-wide flood -- the subject of some 270 oral, folk, traditions, and of course, the subject of Genesis 6-9 was a terrible judgment from God.
