Creation
means God personally exists and made all things. This is opposite to
Evolution.
Christianity is inseparable from Creation! This is the real reason
for the heated debate between the two origins camps. The Redeemer, Jesus
Christ, was needed to accomplish the redemption, because of the Fall
of God's perfectly created world. God entrusted a perfect creation to the
stewardship of Adam and Eve. In the New Testament (Romans 5) we learn that
their failure to obey God's commandment resulted in the Fall of the
world, with sin and death entering the universe for the very first time. Thus,
redemption, and Christianity itself, are firmly tied to creation and the fall.
15 years work with secret codes tells me God exists for
sure, and made the genetic code for sure! In the Strategic Air Command all
our war orders were in secret code. I am talking about an information, and
command and control, system capable of fighting a global war and controlling
thousands of warheads at once. DNA, with its genetic code, is a command and
control, information, system of even more awesome proportions. The information
is in the SEQUENCING OF the DNA, not in the nature of DNA. DNA is
NOT alive. All information systems are based on the arrangement imposed
on dead material. Our human genetic code, though microscopic, would fill 100
books, each 1200 pages thick. Mathematically, there is ZERO chance life is a
cosmic accident. Don't be fooled by the term "natural selection," it
is really God or an accident. Natural selection can only choose from what already
exists, it is not capable of making anything. Realize also, that
information involves communication. The sender and the receiver must be using
the same language. Not only must the evolutionist propose that the genetic code
in the nucleus of cells arose by lucky chance, but that the organelles in the
outer parts of cells, that receive the genetic messages and act upon them, also
arose by lucky chance so that they just happened to understand the exact same
code.
Information is Always a Brain Child! Information
is always made by some intelligent personal being. First, the person must
purpose, that is, originate in his mind, the concept of the final product,
goal, or outcome. Then, the person must, by reason, determine the materials,
tools, and specific sequence of steps needed to achieve the goal. So, clearly,
information always comes from intelligent process, from an intelligent mind. In
the case of the genetic information system it is very clear that this must be a
mind of supreme intelligence and a person of awesome power.
Science News, Vol. 164 #24, December 10,1994, "Does nonsense DNA
speak it's own dialect?" reported extremely significant results of genetic
research. It cited the December 5, 1994 issue of Physical Review Letters
containing research by molecular biologists at Harvard Medical School and
physicists at Boston University strongly indicating that so-called
"junk" DNA, is not "junk" after all. Their study of 37 DNA
sequences containing 50,000 base pairs from a variety of organisms showed that
the "junk" DNA, amounting to 90% of the human genome, is actually
written in a special language. Their tests showed "language like
properties" in the "junk" DNA indicating it to be distinctly
different from the "code" of the genes.
Plainly, this development effectively removes the "junk" which
evolutionists have supposed is left over from eons of evolutionary trial and
error, and enormously strengthens the argument that God just plain made the
genetic code to begin with. It has been wondered just where in the genome are
the instructions that tell the genes when to "express" and when not
to -- so you get fingernails on your fingers and not on your elbows, for
example. It would seem the "junk" DNA, now discovered to have its own
programmed language, will turn out to be the place.
How can we be alive when we are just a collection of dead
atoms? Plainly we are NOT just atoms. The Bible says we ARE
LIVING SOULS made by God – we are alive because we ARE souls.
We ARE conscious because we ARE souls. The moment your soul
departs, you die – that’s what death IS. Death IS the departure of your
soul and spirit. Stop and think what a wondrous and marvelous thing consciousness
IS. The properties of matter cannot possibly explain our life of
consciousness. Consider this also.
You are just getting into your car when that "something" – that
“entity” inside you reminds you; you left your briefcase on the kitchen table.
Notice, that this "entity” knew you were getting into your car, it knew
your day would go poorly without that briefcase, and so this "entity"
decided to intervene in your conscious thoughts to suggest you go back and get
the briefcase. Plainly, this "something" inside you knows you and
your every move, and does actual reasoning concerning your life. Notice to, it
communicated TO you. Your
mind was on other things, when this entity interrupted you. This is your human SPIRIT
that God provided to assist and guide your soul. Your SPIRIT scans your mind
and talks TO your SOUL. We are
body, soul and spirit. We ARE
marvelously created moral beings.
The Bible has an actual authentication system,
proving it is the Word of the Creator! Military forces employ
authentication procedures to confirm the authenticity of messages. The exact
"fit" or "match" between the received coded message and the
code-book assures the military person the message is authentic. Your key fits
your specific door lock; your password gets you access to your specific
computer network. It is the principle of exact "match" or
"fit" between two different things, which would NEVER occur by
accident, that the system designer uses to insure that only authorized persons
use the system, or to demonstrate the authenticity of a message. God uses this
same principle - the precise "fit" between God's created, natural,
world and his created, written, Word, the Bible, assures us God is Creator of both.
The Bible says God exists and created all life - the existence and design of
the genetic code proves this - the Bible "matches" the natural world.
The Bible says God put a soul and spirit within us - we can plainly observe the
existence and action of these as our spirit contacts our conscious mind, that
is our soul, at various times. Again we see that exact "fit" between
God's written, special, revelation in the Bible and his general revelation in
nature. God is Creator of both. God's authentication system may be checked in a
myriad of ways, science, history, and just simple observation.
I don't mean to criticize Bible schools and seminaries, but they make a
fundamental mistake in approaching God's revealed truth. You have to have both
the key and the lock, both code and the codebook, to properly evaluate the
situation. You need to study BOTH God's special revelation in Scripture AND his
general revelation in nature to understand God's message. But, Bible schools
and Seminaries usually treat science, or "natural theology" very
lightly. Or they call it "apologetics" – treating it as a sideline
thing.
As Biblical prophesies, penned thousands of years ago, turn into current events
on the pages of our newspapers, we may rest assured that the Biblical text in
which these prophesies lie, is indeed God's Word. God "inhabits eternity."
He made time and space for us to live in, but he lives outside time and space.
God does not merely know the future -- he already made the
future. God is the maker of time and space. So when Bible prophecies come true,
this proves that God, who makes the future, wrote the passages ahead of time.
Thus, God authenticates the Bible as being his Word.
In the last few centuries Bible scholars realized that the Biblical, end-time
scenario demanded the re-existence of Israel as a nation. But, even serious
Bible students found it difficult to conceive that that could ever occur, and
many resorted to some form of non-literal interpretation of those Biblical
passages. But, in 1948, to the amazement of many, Israel came back into
existence as a nation in the Middle East. This is a clear example of God's
Biblical authentication system at work. The most important example of fulfilled
prophecy is, for Christians, the coming of the Messiah in fulfillment of
numerous prophecies.
I attended a conference on thallium-based superconductors at Breckenridge
Colorado in 1995. I happened to ask a young Russian scientist what year this
was in Russia. Surprised, he said it was 1995, of course. Then he noted that it
was 1995 throughout the entire world. It is quite amazing that although much of
the world takes Jesus Christ rather lightly, any serious literary or scientific
work, intended for world readership, will be dated "AD", that is, in
the year of our Lord. The whole world uses a 7-day week. I’m not aware of any
other historical explanation for the 7-day week than the Biblical one – God
created in six days and rested the seventh.
Science or religion--who cares--I want the TRUTH. But,
you can't get truth from science. Science is based on observation and
experimentation. But, scientists are always discovering something new they
didn't know before, which forces them to overhaul their theories. Scientists never
know how much they don't know yet. They never have all the facts.
You can only get the truth if you possess all the facts. It is
illogical to think you can get truth from science. It is a
deception to teach that we can.
Don't expect truth from public schools. It's a stacked
deck, a rigged system. Public school teachers are often fired if they
publicly admit creation may be true. They have economic, political, guns
pointed at their heads. They are NOT at liberty to go wherever evidence
leads. They preach evolution "or else."
Creation is the basis of the United States Declaration of
Independence. This Declaration states that all men are "endowed by
their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life,
liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." The US constitution grants to
government certain authority, retaining all other rights to the people. The
American colonists had legitimate right, before God, to form a new nation to
"secure these rights." In vital, sacrificial, support of the US
Declaration the colonists said, "We pledge our lives, our fortunes, and
our sacred honor."
Two different Destinies--two different eternities.
The issue is far more than academic. It is for "keeps!"
We see the perfection of God's handiwork everywhere we look, the miracles of
the human eye, the brain, consciousness, the growing process, the birth
process, and the immune system. But, we also see the atrocities of man's
cruelty to man. Would the meticulous, loving, Creator who breathed into our
nostrils the "breath of life" itself, be the author of such horror.
No indeed! God made a perfect world, which then suffered the Fall
at the Garden of Eden. The Bible says that each person must personally obtain
redemption from the sinful effects of the Fall. This redemption is provided
through Jesus Christ, who, himself, by substitution, atoned for sins. Or, that
person must pay God's eternal penalty and judgment. Read about Jesus in the New
Testament and take him as your Savior today! We may be getting close to his
second coming!
