Spay Day 2004 a Tremendous Success

Thanks to the hard work of Dorrie and others, we assisted in the spaying and neutering of over 5 dozen animals in the one month period.  That's more in a month then we did our first year

30 Come Out for Pet Healthcare Q&A Forum held March, 2004

Held at Norwalk City Hall, about 30 area residents came out for the panel of experts on pet healthcare.  See the picture on the front page.  The parting words from the experts?

• Treat any internal parasites your animal may have, left untreated they can cause considerable problems

• Forge a good relationship between you and your animal medical providers

• Obey the local laws and ordinances, don't have animal control having to stop by

Summer Tag Sale coming in June

 We've already started working with other groups to get stuff left over from their spring sales for our summer sales.  Some of the items are being sold at auction on E-bay.  More details to follow

T.A.I.L.S. Receives 501(c)3 Determination

After many months of paperwork and waiting that started in April of 2001, T.A.I.L.S. has received it's not for profit status from the Internal Revenue Service.  Having 501(c)3 Certification will allow us to accept tax deductible donations, apply for grants we couldn't before, etc.
