Sunset Celebration

Starting as a very tight bud of a deep peach color, the bud slowly folds it's petals back to reveal a deep peach/apricot flower, all the while maintaining it's very tight bud shaped center. As a cut flower it is stunning, sure to get compliments from anybody who sees it. The flowers are contrasted by it's deep green leaves.

The 4 1/2 inch flowers have a light apricot scent, very delicate. It seems to prefer the cooler weather, not producing any flowers at all during August, but coming back around Labor Day.

The bush is a quick grower, growing to 53 inches tall and 23 inches wide. Every now and then there was some minor blackspot problems, but it was easily controlled with spraying.
