Flat Stanley December 1998
Stanley was pretty busy during December. Early in the month we went to a tree farm to cut down the Christmas tree. After three hours we decided on one, and while Stanley is only a few inches tall, the tree was over 14 feet. Never mind our ceiling was only eight feet tall, the bottom of the tree could be made into other decorations.
We brought the tree home and decorated it for the holiday. Stanley was more then willing to help, but the cat kept a close eye on him so he wouldn't get into trouble in the tree. Actually, Stanley and the cat seem to be getting in each others way lots.
Once the tree was up and decorated, it came time for the annual Christmas Portrait of all the creatures in the house. Luckly Stanley, he managed to sneak into the yearly event. That's him over on the right in the picture below.

After the holiday, Stanley took a trip out to California with us for a few days to visit family. It was very hot and sunny out there, Stanley didn't get out much because he didn't want to get sunburned. Back to Connecticut for the very cold weather around New Years Day.
