Spice Twice

Bought as part of a nursery's late June clearance sale, this Jackson and Perkins rose was described in the catalog as having a coral color with a light reverse. The plant has yielded many beautiful roses it's first summer. The coral roses produced were beautiful and smelled wonderful. For whatever reason, my plant does not exhibit the light reverse to any significant degree.

This plant produced beautiful buds that took an extra day or two than most of the other roses to open to full bloom. Excellent as cut flowers, their scent filled the room when they were brought inside.

The beetles didn't bother with the Spice Twice, the aphids were attracted to it. No black spot on this rose.

This plant grows to be 33", producing roses with 10" stems. It flowers all season long.
