Sheila's Perfume

Sheila's Perfume is a beautiful tri colored rose with red, orange, and white petals. The rose has a very prominent rose scent. Once the buds form they take forever to open on the plant, but are beautiful as they begin their week or so journey from bud to flower. The dark green leaves are sensitive to blackspot, and the aphids are attracted to this plant by the thousands, so whatever you use to prevent the two pests make sure you stick with it.

This Week's potted plant brew to be 47" tall and 24" wide. You may have to wait a week or so between flowers, but it will produce right through the summer.

In it's second season it's pattern of growth was considerably different then the previous season. The flowers were coming one a day, and they quickly went from bud to fully open. The flowers were much larger then in it's first year.

Sheila was the first flower I picked in 2000, on June first one was fully open and ready to come into the office. One person who smelled it simply said "It smells so much of summer" which is the perfect description of this beautiful flower with it's intoxicating scent.
