Quick Cheese Puffs

 

(a quick appetizer which can be made, frozen, and then cooked whenever the pesky uninvited guests come over)

 

Mix 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar, 4 oz cream cheese, 1 egg, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, 4 slices cooked bacon, some chopped chives and a dash of pepper.

 

Cut thawed puff pastry dough into 3 inch squares, fill, fold, crimp, and bake at 450 for 15 minutes.
