The love rose is unique with it's two colored petals, unique that they are white on the outside and red on the inside. The plant quickly grew from a potted bush to 30" tall and 23 inches wide, flowering early in the season. The flowers start out as a beautiful bud shape, and when cut the center retains the bud shape as the outside petals open one by one, folding back to hi-lite the center with their vibrant colors. When cut, the flowers last quite a while. They have a delicate traditional rose scent. The plant repeats very quickly with new growth starting a day or so after you cut a flower. In a very wet spring the plant remained free of black spot. |
