Heirloom

|
A pale lavender flower with a pleasant fragrance, this plant grew to 43" tall and produced 4" flowers with 12" stems. The buds were absolutely beautiful as they opened. Both roses in the picture are heirlooms, you can see that each flower has a different shade of lavender. There was no shortage of flowers from the heirloom, it was a steady producer all summer. The aphids were very attracted to this plant as the buds were forming, and the lower leaves of the plant suffered from some blackspot after a very wet spring. The beetles stayed off this plant for the most part. This plant was bought as a bare root plant from Jackson and Perkins. |
