English Sonnet
The picture above doesn't do this rose any justice, it opens up into a beautiful circular flower with many many petals. The color is as you see it here, sort of a cross between an orange and a yellow.
This plant was a Jackson and Perkins Bare Root, new to the Garden in 1999. The plant is still very small, so the flowers are being born on very small stems. Hopefully this one will continue to grow, the flowers are very pretty.
