Blueberry Pies - 2 Variations

 

(Both are using fresh berries)

First One:

Mix 1/3 cup flour, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Add 4 cups of blueberries, cover with a crust and bake at 425 for ten minutes, then decrease the heat to 350 and bake for another 40 minutes.

 

Second one:

 

Mix the sugar, starch, water, and 2 cups of the berries in a medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat with stirring until it boils. Remove from heat, add the lemon juice and let it cool.

Pour the other two cups of berries into a crust, add the mix from above, cool. The pie will thicken as it cools.
