My Hobbies

Eating
-
I love to eat. My adopted parents have cat food out
all of the time. I generally eat Science Diet.
I also love my morning ration of raw green beans.
And every now and then, Mommy and Daddy treat me and
my brother Tycho to a tiny Tuna treat (that is my favorite).
I never get table scraps (whatever they are). My
brother usually eats when I do; but after he leaves, I like
to steal a few bites from his bowl. Mommy says our food is
the same; but sometimes I think what's in his bowl looks
better.
Mommy used to (and still does) call me The Wee One
because I was so tiny when I moved in. I
was the smallest then; but now I am the biggest.
If I stand on my hind legs, my paws can just reach the
countertop.

Water
-
My brother and I have our own water fountain. But, I love to drink
water out of Mommy's bathroom sink. I sit on the counter and call to
her whenever I want a fresh drink. Usually, every morning, in the afternoon
when she gets home from work, and sometimes at night before I go to bed.
I also like to play in the water. I love to dip my paw in the water
and sometimes I try to dig a hole to China in the water bowl. I can never
get the hole very deep. But I then get a towel rub down to be dried off.
Mommy and Daddy even bought me some baby tubby toys and I love to bat at
them when they are floating in the sink.

Watching TV
-
I love to watch TV. My favorite shows
include World News Tonight, Jeopardy! and
CNN with the scrolling news
ticker. My favorite movie, so far, is
Forrest Gump. I love the little
white feather that is in the opening and
closing scenes. I also love to watch
special kitty DVDs that Mommy and Daddy
bought for me. These feature lots of
birds, squirrels, chipmunks, spiders and
moths. Whenever I want to watch it, I
ask them and they play it for me.

Playing with My Brother

I love to play with my brother Tycho.
I also used to love to play with my brother Grimaldi.
But he has gone to a special place called heaven.

Playing with Toys
-
My favorite toys include a small fuzzy green
glitter pom-pom and red cherry bomb. I love to bat them across
the floor and chase after them. I like
to get Mommy and Daddy involved as well.
Their assignment is to retrieve them from
underneath furniture or behind closed doors.
Actually, I love most any toy with catnip in it.
I confess, I am a bit of an addict. I can't be held accountable
for my actions when I've had a good dose of catnip.

Tubby Time
-
Every morning, Mommy and I have a special ritual called
Tubby Time. She spreads a fluffy towel in the bath tub.
I hop in, lay down on the towel and start to purr.
Mommy then brushes and pets me and tells me what a beautiful
boy I am. What a way to start each day.
