Contents of MP First-Aid Individual Equipment

(Period 1944-1945) > item # 9710550 (Postwar Period) > item # becomes 9-220-210

(NOTE: This kit is supplied to Military Police personnel, but more details are not available, according to the listed contents, it seems that 2 of the std. canvas pouches were probably necessary, but there’s no proof of this – this item was already introduced before the end of WWII, 1944-1945, but the author has not been able to find more data about this item)

Remark: the above contents are from the Army-Navy Catalog of Medical Material (Sets, Kits, Outfits) dated July 1947, courtesy of Michael Myers, and the Armed Sevices Catalog dated July 1949, courtesy of Daan Meyer, via Alain Batens – it is not known whether above items fitted in one or two Canvas Pouches – quite a number of the items have been traced to their WWII origin, I have however no further identification for the first item (Case) and some of the others since I do not possess a 1944 itemized inventory  – therefore, any additional information is most welcome – thanks for your help
