3.0 CS: son of 2800 CS, grandson of the odd-looking 2000 CS; contemporaneous cousin of Bavaria and 2002; stylistic offspring of Corvair. These smooth-running, sleek-looking 6-cylinder coupes are a joy to drive. Thanks to the Karmann body, they are also notorious rust-buckets. Owning this car provoked us to build our garage.
