CNSI class: Mammalian cell culture
Hands-on cell culture class on a 2:1 student:teacher ratio. Covers all basic aspects of mammalian cell culture. Includes EHS Bloodbourne Pathogen (BBP) training required for handling human and BSL2 cell lines (BBP class can be joined separately, pls inquire). Two times a week, 3 h per class (exact dates available upon sign up), for 4 weeks. Requirements: none. BNL Users have priority. MCDB / BMSE class 229: Protein Biochemistry (graduate level)
Protein Biochemistry class 229 (MCDB/BSME), covers Protein Structure and Structure/Function relationships. Three times a week, 1 h per class (M,W,F 10 am). Requirements: graduate standing. Dates: Fall quarter 2009

Instrument specific Training for Equipment housed in the Autoclave Lab of the Biological NanoStructures Laboratory (BNL); covers safety aspects, operation and recharge procedure. Single dates, 1h each. Requirements: for users of the recharge facility. Dates: please inquire.
Particle sizer / Zetapotential:Introduction in use of the instrument (Malvern Zetasizer Nano ZS). Instructors: C. Gottstein / N. Traitcheva. Requirements: none. Primarily targeted at recharged users of the instrument. Dates: Fall quarter 2009 (open for sign up)
