Let me just say a few words to introduce myself to you.
I am semi-retired.
Update: fully retired

I am a full-time homemaker.
I am in avid reader.
I am in the process of training a new puppy.
Update: Whooppee! She's trained.
Update update: Now SHE is training me!

This is a full-time job, which I am sure anyone who has trained a puppy will tell you.

My husband passed away many years ago.
I have three children.
Two boys and a girl.
My daughter is married and lives several blocks from me.
My sons are both unmarried, the youngest does not live at home.
My eldest son lives with me and is the bread-winner of the family.

I am a Born-Again Christian and zealous to spread
"The Good News" of the gospel.
Fifty some odd years of doing it my way and following after the ways of the world, I had come to a dead end. I was a successful failure.
I had achieved everything that I had set out after and still I was unhappy. My life had lost purpose and I felt that I had stayed "too long at the fair".
It was at this point, the lowest I had ever been, that Jesus Christ came into my life. Actually, I think he had always been in my life, but I never knew it.
I was a modern woman. Independent and self-sufficient. I didn't think I needed anything or anybody.

Boy, was I mistaken.
All I had were things, in fact my life was cluttered with "things".
Today, I have less "things" but I am rich.
I found something that I never even thought was attainable.
I found a personal realtionship with my Father.
I found a relationship with
the one person who will never leave me or let me down.
