Dear Jane

This is my second Dear Jane quilt. It's made of just three fabrics -- a Hoffman Bali Handpaint called "Dawn"; A tiny black/blue stripe from RJR; and a solid plum. I love the resulting blocks, and will continue to post pictures of the finished blocks as they are completed. Pictures of my new DJ #3 in progress are at the end of this page.

OK, call me crazy. Here is my third Dear Jane quilt, in progress. I started it on March 17, 2001, and by April 10, 2001, have completed 147 blocks. This one is for my husband, Steve, who loves studying Civil War history. The fabrics are Civil War era reproductions and similar fabrics. Backgrounds are off-white tone-on-tones and reproductions of vintage shirtings. They are really fun to work with!
