Fun: I want to support this park since it is needed and the owners are nice people, but my skaters came away frowning. It is still early and the owners have many plans that may eliminate some of the problems. Maybe consider a new floorplan/ layout? Maybe consider a later evening session for older (15 years+) skaters so they can skate without grommies unfamiliar with skate-etiquette?
Helmets: Required and enforced.

Supervised: Yes.
Hours open: Varies. Check the Website: www.back-to-backindoorsports.com or call 503.661.3455.
Lights for night:Yes.
Covered: Indoors.
Cleanliness: Spotless.
Friendliness: The one time we visited, seemed friendly enough, although be prepared to skate with lots of grommies.

Misc: Troutdale had been trying for a long time to get a skatepark. I've been to a couple of the meetings and they were constantly stalemated affairs. I was very surprised when I learned that suddenly, there WAS a skatepark in Troutdale, despite the city and all the nay-saying Troutdalians who refused to allow a skatepark...Not in MY backyard...sigh. Opened just in time for the rainy Oregon winter, although maybe having a few problems yet to iron out, give this park a try. There is a concession stand, pop machines, permanant restrooms, didn't notice a payphone.
