Church in Society Committee Meeting The September 2005 Committee Meeting included the following:

• Visit from The Reverend Leslie Weber, ELCA Division for Church in Society who provided information and assisted the committee in it's visioning process.
• Discussion and evaluation of the 'Crossing into Culture' survey. The three top issues were identified as affordable health care, abuse issues, and environmental concerns. The committee elected to focus on affordable health care.
• The Revered Craig Richter described 'Asset Mapping' as a tool to better utilize our resources. He had attended a workshop at the Hunger Event at Fargo, ND.
• Steve Woodruff was approved to go to Lutheran Earthkeeping Network.
