Not everyone needs the same type of assistance, some may need group meetings, some one on one help,
and others may need a residential program. We are going to try and compile a list of places to get the assistance that is needed. With a little help this list should continue to grow and have some information that will be of assistance to you or someone you know. MEETING PLACES
 
Alcoholics Anonymous  Meetings can be found locally in most locations. This is the most available help.

Narcotics Anonymous   Along the same lines as AA but for drugs, also can be found locally.

Overcomers                 Christian help group for all situations. check with local pastors. There are other
                                   similar Christian organizations. Christian groups can give you a shoulder to lean
                                   on with a strong church body and The word of Jesus for strength.

Dorcas House              Tampa, Florida. 813-223-2151, residential for women.

Abiding Hearts              West Palm Beach, Florida. 407-833-3300. residential for men.

Faith Farm                    Florida. 954-763-7787, several locations for men and women.

Acts                             Tampa, Florida. 813-238-9505. detox only.

Dade City Lighthouse    Dade City, Florida. 352-523-1399. residential for men.

Loving Hands              Bradenton, Florida. 941-747-4201. residential for men.

New Life                      Lakeland, Florida. 813-682-7842. residential for men.

Christ Aid Ministries      Mims, Florida. 407-383-3168. This program is one I would highly
                                    recommend for women with children.  This is the only residential
                                    program I've found so far that takes the children as well as the
                                    mother and provides a safe, Christian environment for both to
                                    recover emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
