- I think Zeppelin is the greatest band there ever was. they arose
at a time when rock and roll was becoming an industry, a marketing
device, and they turned it back around. they focused purely on the
music. You can tell by listening to one of their albums that they
fine-tune each and every song, leaving no room for half-assed album
fillers. they covered styles from semi-tonic Indian music to
sex-lathered blues. I don't think anyone in the world has put more
of an effort into their music than Led Zeppelin.

- I've always been a zeppelin fan but recently became very
interested in the four symbols, especially page's. Although many
stories differ I've come upon the conclusion that Z is a symbol for
capricorn and O-S-O is a symbol for 666. I do not think Page is a
Satanist. I think the symbol may have deeper meaning the swoosh
under the letters generally symbolizes operning, or awakeing, and i
think that the symbol as a whole may have something to do with
unifying the living and the dead, or opening the door to another
realm. I have also read that it is something to do with a near death
experience or a tantric sex experience that unifies the living and
the dead. I really wish I knew. I might tatoo it on my back I have
to think it over. I would appreciate any more info, your point of
veiw, or any comments by email.

my dad has there videos hard days night help! and magical mystery tour. Alot of my friends think that they are old hat they are an old band but there music is STILL the best yet! I have many favourites from ill get you to while my guaitar gently weeps. I recomend the beatle anthology tapes as they are brillant with clips from when they were still playing at the cavern (in spite of all the danger etc) which was written by a young john. I love them and hope that there music lives on until i have children!

thing that troubles me about Zeppelin is that they often
failed to credit the original writers of the blues songs
they covered. Memphis Minnie's "When the Levee Breaks"
and Howlin' Wolf's "Killin' Floor" are the most blatant
examples. Any thoughts?

- I just recently visited Morrins grave over spring
break and I have to say it sure is a sight to see i mean
it is a small tomb compared to most of the other but it
sure stand out, not that it is tagged up like it used to
be, the taggin was actually on his neighbors grave, but
there are an assorment of items thrown onto his grave ie
joints CD's scarfs flowers and a peace sign which i
threw in because i have a matching one that i keep with
me, but yes The doorsare great and I definatley suggest
visiting him if you are ever in Paris!!!

- First I would like to say I hail from Fla. Reason I say is that
in the 14 years Pearl Jam has been in existence they have visited
here about 4 times max. First the fiasco with ticket master, then
refusal to "sellout"(which i respect) dwindle record sales. But man,
in the scramble to not sell out and stay true to their fans they
have deny us the pleasure of a live performance. They are currently
touring and at a close venue. The problem? 150 dollars for nosebleed
seats? Isn't ironic how the "no sellouts stay true to the real fans"
band can only be seen by yuppies and people who only know songs like
"jeremy" and "even flow"(the most widely commercialized songs).
Just a True fan tortured by the fact I will probably never get to
see these guys live ever.

- Hi, i posted a while ago about the Mother Love Bone song
correction.....well i have another question. The song 4/20/02(The
hidden track after "Bee Girl" on the Lost Dogs CD) i think its a
Layne Staley tribute song. I have some evidence to back up this. the
Line where he says The Fools can now sing like you. This could be
refrence to crappy bands like Godsmack and Creed singing like Layne.
when Eddie sings about "Using" it could be about Heroine.
The only doubt i have is that Laynes body was found on
4/5/02(Ironicly the same day Kurt Cobain killed himself) so 4/20/02
wouldnt have anything to do with that(Cept for 4/20 being Pot
Smoking day which i guess could be linked to the "Using" Lyric)
i was wondering where you found the title of this song and if i am
right about the meaning. Thanks in advance

- Very distressed to find this & other similar sites have the
lyrics for all apologies so different than what I thought they
were...what a crap song!
My version was much better & at least the chorus rhymed & even made
some sort of sense!!!
I'm going to stop looking now in order to avoid further
disillusionment....
