Family Research & Surname List

I am in the process of researching our family genealogy. I started using Kith & Kin in late 1994 to record data by interviewing relatives and muddling through old family papers. In December of 1997, I finally started formal research at a local parish where my grandparents were married and quickly found the Buffalo & Erie County Historical Society's research library. Visits to the LDS Family History center, while on business in Salt Lake City, helped fill in some blanks in my wife's line.

Prince Edward Island Reasearch

My wife's maternal line came through Prince Edward Isand in the 1800s. We visited PEI in July 1998 and acquired a copy of "By the Old Mill Stream - History of Wellington, 1833-1983". The book contains the history of Wellington (located in Lot 16) and family genealogies. I would be happy to do a lookup if you are interested, just send me an E-mail Click here for contact info.
