Hana Lee is a cozy 1 room studio situated in the Whittier hills and caters to songwriters, folk singers, blues, rock and roll, power pop, retro, spoken word and experimental artists. We use high quality tube and solid state pre-amps and well chosen microphones which feed into RME converters giving the artist the sound of analog with the speed and flexibility of digital. Individual and collective indie recordings have been heard world-wide. Some of the instruments in the studio include a 1963 Ludwig drumset, MOOG OPUS 3, Fender Rhodes, York Upright Piano, Farfisa Organ, Reverend and Dan Electro guitars and many more gizmos!
Past Guests Include: Tee-m, Drool Brothers, Connie Kim, Joe Kramer, Musetrap, PG-13, Jigsaw Seen, Anti Affect, The Howlers, Jamie James, Kristian Hoffman, Street Talk, Basket Case, Andy Pesich, Buddy Zapata and many more.
