In 9th grade, I participated in the 2000 Science Fair in Delaware. My project was entitled "The Effect of Radiation on Seed Germination". I tried to find out if radiating seeds would make them germinate and grow better and more productive. I won third place in botany at my school science fair and an honorable mention and a plant pathology award at the Delaware Science, Mathematics, and Technology Symposium.
