In 6th grade, I participated in the 1998 Delaware Elementary Mathematics League Invitational Meet. The top schools on each grade level were invited to participate. The top 5 students from each of those schools participated in the Invitational Meet. 9 challenging math problems worth different numbers of points were given. I got all the problems correct and won first place in Delaware for a second time in a row in the Invitational Math Meet (I was in a 2-way tie with Aaron Meng). For this award, Delaware senator Bill Roth sent me a congratulatory letter. Here is a picture of me winning a plaque for being first in the state.
