When I was in 7th grade, I participated in the 1999 Johns Hopkins Talent Search. The 7th and 8th grade talent search involves taking the SAT. I scored a 790 out of possible 800 on the quantitative part which caused me to win first place in the state of Delaware and earn national recognition. The first picture below shows me holding a trophy for winning first place in the state and a certificate for scoring one of the top scores in the state. The second picture shows me being awarded for scoring one of the top scores in the nation. The students who score 700 or more out of possible 800 on either the math or verbal part before the age of 13 are invited to participate in the Study of Exceptional Talent (SET).
