NIB (New In Box), NOS (New Old Stock) or Tested Pulls (Used Tubes) sourced from vintage Audio and Military Equipment suppliers. Price per "Unit", each is the price for a single tube. Unit Price, pair is for a pair of tubes. Tubes identified as matched Pairs will also have matched sections, unless they are identified as having unmatched sections. If tubes are sold as “matched pair”, there will be no extra charge to matching. These function perfectly in circuits where each channel is amplified by both Triode Sections of the tube. Tubes test 80% or better. Test percentage numbers less than 80% will be listed in the tube description. Cost to match tube sections will add $2.00 to the tube price. Cost to match tube pairs will add $4.00 to the price of a pair of tubes.
Recommend you consider the General Electric Large Plates. They offer excellent performance at a very affordable price. In my opinion, the Telefunken Smooth Plates are the best for phono stage applications. Of course the Mullard ECC83 is the best for line stages. The Sylvania 12AX7WA works very well in power amplifiers. Also consider the various 12AX7 Black Plates. They offer a warm smooth sound with a rich harmonic structure. Finally consider trying a 5751 in line stages, cathode followers, guitar and power amplifiers. Less gain, lower plate resistance and more drive. See the 5751 Tube Sales List.
