and all so afraid
to let each other know
plans have been made
that sweep us away
and leave us behind
and childinside knows
it's all in the mind
and the dawn breaks (or does it creak)
and the earth quakes (or does it speak)
and the light shines (or does it glow)
and the childinside wants to know
why am I waking up alone...
where did everyone go?
everyone is hiding out on the inside
busy with the dollar signs and daily grinds
wondering if the childinside of you died
close the blinds so you don't see the signs
how would you know if you lose your minds
childinside doesn't want to be alone
childinside is always alone
childinside keeps company inside
but childinside does not want to hide
come and play with childinside

Hi (wow, fancy rhyming lyrical song kind of opening, huh?... it's like child has a show on TV or something... probably something... yes, it's beamed out on starlight every night... the childinside show)...

and I hope you are smiling and feeling the wonderful wonder filled wonders that wander all around you and inside of you... you are one, ya know?... well, ya oughta know now... you just gotta let it show (it's a show, get it?) J
it doesn't matter where you are
it doesn't matter what you're doing
it doesn't matter if you're rich or poor
unknown or a star
you can go as far
as you dare to take your dreams
the world is your playground
and life is as simple as it seems
it doesn't matter what they do
it doesn't matter what they think
it doesn't matter if you're black or blue
red, yellow or pink
you are still a drink
of the sunshine, arise and shine
you are alive if you hear this
and that's the bottom line
if you're having trouble finding a smile
you can have mine
if you're lost or confused sometimes
we're all in that line
and don't be afraid to step out of it
take a walk and find yourself
you know I never doubted you a bit
you're a favorite book on my shelf
