Chapter 3.

AS Doc and Marty approached the house, Doc produced a jar and gave it to Marty. "This is the same kind of jar that the other jar of poison was in." he said. Then he gave him the 1964 newspaper. As Marty got out, Doc said "I'll go around the corner and wait for you there."

"Check Doc!" said Marty. And Doc drove off.

Meanwhile inside Biff and his friends were watching football when the TV set suddenly turned off. "Lorraine," said Biff, "I thought I told you to call the TV repairman and have this thing fixed."

"There's nothing wrong with your TV set. I just turned off the power."

Biff turned to see the same kid that he threw out of the house standing outside the window. "You again!" he said.

"We need to talk, Biff." said the boy.

"About what?" asked Biff.

"George McFly." said the boy named Marty.

He produced a newspaper that said:

 TRAGEDY DURING ED SULLIVAN SHOW.

McFLY POISONED.

"And how he died." he said producing a jar that read "Poison".

Biff jumped up and said to the guys. "I'll be back."

As Marty followed Biff to the garage they encountered Mr. Strickland who said "Well, well, well Mr. Tannen. How nice to see you home."

"Why Mr. Strickland," said Biff, "It's nice that you noticed."

Strickland also noticed Marty. "I see that the cowboy is back." he said.

"Yeah," said Biff, "I'm going to 'show him my horse.'"

At that, Strickland got into Biff's face and said "You got a real attitude problem Mr.Tannen. You're a slacker. You've been a slacker since high school. Watch it. I also don't like the way you treat your wife."

"Like it's your business." said Biff.

"You know Mr. Tannen." said Strickland, "I'll be glad when she leaves you, takes the kids with her, and hits you with a restraining order. Slacker!" At that, Strickland left.

Inside the garage, Biff said "Start talking, kid. How did you know about the me having the poison?"

"First you tell me how you got it, and where you were at the time." said Marty.

"In the parking lot of the Plaza Hotel in New York City." said Biff.

"What were you doing there?" asked Marty.

"Waxing the car that the Beatles were to take a ride in." said Biff, "There I was, minding my own business. I just finished putting the second coat of wax on the car when there was this flash of light in the sky. I looked up and saw something fall out of the sky. It landed in the bushes. I went over and found this." He went over to open a cabinet and took out a jar simular to the one that Doc gave Marty. "It was like some divine providence graced me." said Biff, "I said to myself 'Imagine no George McFly'. I knew if I used this on that loser I'd had Lorraine. So that night I took it to the theatre that night, and while the Beatles were playing 'I Wanna Hold Your Hands' I snuck behind George and poisoned his food. He didn't suspect a thing. He ate and was dead in fifteen minutes. After that, Lorraine was mine."

Marty listened to all of it realizing how far Biff would go to have Lorraine. "She sure was yours", he said, "You son of a bitch! No wonder why nobody knew who I am now. George McFly was supposed to be my father but you ruined that." Biff stared at Marty quizzically. Marty went on saying "You're going to pay for this, Biff." he pulled out a mini tape recorder saying, "I got it all on tape. When the FBI hear about this..."

"What the Hell?" exclaimed Biff. He lounged for the recorder and a struggle was on.

Marty notice a jar of acid in the cabinet and said "Lorraine, did you hear what Biff told me?"

"Lorraine?" exclaimed Biff as he turned his head to look.

But there was no one there. Marty seized the moment to seize the acid. Biff turned back as Marty splashed it in his opponent's face. Biff cried out in pain covering his face as Marty picked up the jar of poison and ran out. He looked around and noticed something in the bushes. Something familiar! Marty picked it out. It was the hoverboard. Doc had just taken back to the future with him. It had a note on it. Marty read it.

It read

"I thought you might need it. I put new batteries in it. Now strut your stuff. Doc."

Marty look back. His mother with Biff's gang had came out of the house to find out what the commotion was about. Out came Biff, clutching his face. Immediately, Marty jumped on the board. And took off. Biff's guys came charging after him. Marty then spied a truck coming up from down the street. Marty latched on and was led away from the men who started towards a car in Biff's driveway.

Lorraine pulled out with Biff on the passenger side still clutching his face. Then out of nowhere came Biff's men. "Move over Lorraine." said one of them, "We gotta go after this punk."

"But I got to take Biff to the hospital." said Lorraine.

"Lorraine." said Biff, "Do what they tell you. Move." Lorraine did and the car sped off.

Marty was still attached to the truck when he looked back of him and saw the car speeding down to catch him. Realizing that they intended to ram him he moved to the side of the truck as the car did. Only to collide with a drunken man. The drunk turned out to be former mayor Red Thomas.

"Sorry about that, Red." said Marty. And he took off again.

Red looked at the fleeing boy saying "Crazy drunk skateboarder."

Without another truck or car to hold onto the pursuing car started gaining on him. Then, there it is! The DeLorean. It met Marty. The door opened and in he went.

"Doc." said Marty, "It was Biff. Great idea, though. Using my walkman as a spy recorder."

"What's really on it, Marty?" asked Doc. "

Led Zeppelin." said Marty. Turning his head to see the oncoming car he said "Here they come." said Marty

"Hang on, Marty." said Doc. The DeLorean took off.

Marty looked back again. "Geez." he said, "Why don't they just take Biff to the hospital?"

"It's you they're after, Marty." said Doc, "But I'm about to give them a reason to go to the hospital."

He pushed a few buttons. On the time circuits, it read:

DESTINATION TIME: FEBRUARY 9, 1964 6:00 a.m.

DESTINATION LOCATION: NEW YORK CITY, NY.

Doc pushed another button saying "Time circuits activated. Marty braced yourself for temporal distortion." Doc kick it up to 88 miles per hour and...Nothing happening. Then Doc realized something. "Great Scott." he said, "The fusion generator. I forgot to load it. Can't do anything now. They're gaining on us." Then he spied manure truck dead ahead. "But we can do something about them." said Doc, "Watch this."

He activated the hover circuits and the car lifted off the ground. The truck in front sunk down and there was nothing but sky. Doc and Marty look down and saw the ongoing car speed towards the truck with the passengers looking up. Then crash! The car hits the truck and the manure poured out on them.

++++++

Down on the ground Biff asked "What happened?"

One of his men said "We hit a manure truck."

"Manure?" exclaimed Biff, "I hate manure."

++++++

Doc set the car down and got out to load the fusion generator.

"Doc." said Marty, "That was great."

"I call it being innovated." said Doc.

He got in and and the car took off in a flash.
