Hill Valley California
MARTY and Jennifer stood at the railroad track among the wreckage of once was once a DeLorean.
"You're right," said Jennifer, "there's not much left."
"Doc's never coming back." said Marty as he knelt down to pick up what was left of an 1885 snapshot of Doc standing next to what was then the new clocktower.
"I'm certainly going to miss him, Jen." he said examining the picture.
Then, the railroad signal sounded. The couple looked both ways for a train but there was none.
"What the hell?" exclaimed Marty.
Boom!
There was a brilliant flash of light accompanied by a sonic boom and windstorm that blew them both off their feet. Both of them look up and saw a train like the one that pushed the DeLorean back in 1885. A window opened to reveal Doc Brown.
"Doc!" said Marty.
"Marty." replied Doc.
"Doc, Doc" said Marty as he and Jennifer got up to approach the train.
"Marty" said Doc "it runs on steam."
The door open as Doc said "Meet the family." And out came Clara.
"Clara you know." said Doc.
"Hi, Marty." said Clara.
"Ma'am" said Marty.
"These are our boys" said Doc and two boys came foward.
"Jules" he said "and Verne."
Doc turn to the boys and said "Boys, this is Marty and Jennifer."
The boys waved at the couple and Jennifer waved back.
"You couldn't keep a good scientist down." said Doc, "After all, I had to come back for Einstein and, well, I didn't want to be worried about me." said Doc as Einstein also appeared.
"Oh," said Doc, "I brought you a little souvener."
He handed Marty a package. Marty opened it and it was a picture of him and Doc at the new clocktower.
"It's great, Doc." said Marty, "Thanks."
They both shook hands as Jennifer produced a blank piece of paper.
"Doctor Brown." she said, "I brought this note back from the future and now it's erased."
"Of course it's erased." said Doc.
"But what does that mean?" asked Jennifer.
"It means," said Doc, "your future hasn't been written yet. No one has. So make it a good one both of you!"
"We will, Doc" said Marty.
"Now stand back." said Doc as the door closed.
"Doc" asked Marty, "where are you going now, back to the future?"
"Nope," said Doc, "already been there."
And he waved at the two and the two waved back. The window closed and the train lifted itself from the tracks and flew off into a flash of light.
"Good bye, Doc" said Marty to himself.
Then he turn to Jennifer but she wasn't there.
"Jennifer?" he said "Where are you?"
He looked around and saw something else.
The sign that was suppose to read "Eastwood Ravine." went back to reading "Clayton Ravine."
"What the hell?" said Marty to himself and look down to see the wreckage gone.
Marty looked to see his truck but that was gone too.
Stunned by all this he said to himself "What the hell is going on here."
+++++++
Marty ran back to his house at Lyon's Estate and when he entered he made a startling discovery. The furniture was different.
"Mom, Dad" said Marty looking around, "Dave, Linda."
He went room-to-room to see each has changed. Then he heard water running. It was the sound of a shower running.
Marty ran to the bathroom where the sound was coming from saying to himself "Who left the water running?"
Marty opened the shower curtain only to see a naked woman who was a brunett. The woman screamed grabbing a towel to wrap herself with.
"Hey, hey" said Marty, "Wait. Wait a minute. What are doing in my house? Wait. Who are you?"
"Ah ha!"
"Jim" said the woman, "it's not what you think."
Marty turned around to see a heavy set blonde man with a baseball bat.
"Oh is it?" asked the man.
"She right." said Marty, "It's not what you think."
"That's what they all say." said the man as he took a swing at Marty.
"I'm just in the wrong house." said Marty.
"You got that right." said the man with the bat as he chased Marty out of the house.
Once outside, Marty paused to look at the mailbox. It no longer said "McFly" it read "Jandick".
"What the hell?" said Marty and the man appeared again with the bat and swung at Marty who fled.
Marty ran down the street. Then he ran down another street. Finally, he arrived at Jennifer's house. There he saw her father.
"Mr Parker." he said, "Something has happened to Jennifer."
Mr. Parker look at Marty and asked "Who are you?"
"What do you mean who am I?" exclaimed Marty, "It's me. Marty McFly. Jennifer's boyfriend."
"Jennifer already has a boyfriend." said Mr. Parker.
Then a truck pulled up. Out of the passenger side came Jennifer.
"Jennifer" said Marty approaching her.
"Excuse me." said Jennifer, "Do I know you?"
Marty was startled.
"It's me." he said, "Marty."
"Leave her alone."
Marty turned to see Needles.
"You son of a bitch." said Marty, "This is for challenging me to that truck race."
He threw Needles a left hook.
"Needles," said Jennifer.
Mr. Parker grabbed Marty and said. "Alright. get out of here before I call the cops."
Marty, startled, complied. He ran from street to street. He found himself in the town square in the shadow of the courthouse. He encountered the woman who was taking a collection to save the clocktower.
"Excuse me ma'am." said Marty, "Do you remember me?"
"No" was the answer.
Then Marty went inside to Lou's Aerobic's to find the phone booth. He picked up the phone book but could not find the name "McFly". But he did find's Biff's address so he went down there.
When he arrived two nasty looking boys were playing in the front yard. One was blond the other was dark haired.
"Excuse me." said Marty, "who are you kids?"
They both looked at Marty and said "We're your worst nightmare."
The dark-haired boy looked at the blond-haired boy and said "What do we do with him, Beavis?"
The blonde haired boy noted the cowboy outfit that Marty was still wearing and said "Play cowboys and indians with this Bozo, Butthead."
They both jumped Marty, tied him to a post and beat him to unconscienceness.
End of Chapter One.
