9:00 a.m.
Hill Valley, California
MARTY stopped by to pick up Jennifer. When he got out, he noticed some spray cans and a wax can on the hood of Jennifer’s car.
He went over to pick up some of this stuff to study it when someone came out of nowhere and said “Hey Butthead! Get away from there.”
Marty looked to see Biff. “Watch it, Biff.” he said.
“Marty.” said Biff, “I didn’t expect you to be here. I hope I didn’t scare you.”
“What the hell are you doing, Biff?” asked Marty.
“Just putting the second coat of wax on Jennifer’s car.” said Biff, “Hey Marty, you’re not going to try to get her back are you?”
“Marty!”
Both Biff and Marty turned to see Jennifer come out.
“Oh Marty.” said Jennifer as she and Marty kissed.
Biff stood there in stunned silence. “I don’t believe it.” he said.
“Let’s go, Jennifer.” said Marty and they both left.

As he saw Marty drive off with Jennifer in the truck, Biff was joined by both parents of Jennifer.
“Hey, Mr. and Mrs. Parker.” he said, “Do you see what I see.”
“Yes I do.” said Mr. Parker.
“My baby’s made up with Marty.” said Mrs. Parker.
“You could say that again.” said Biff.

The truck pulled up in front of Jan’s gallery. Getting out, they ran into Red Thomas who was staggering down the street.
“Hey Red.” said Marty, “Nice morning right?”
Red looked at Marty and Jennifer in complete shock. Apparently, the break-up of the two was heard all around town.
++++++
After seeing the two go into the gallery, Red looked at his Jack Daniels and said “I’ve gotta join Alcoholics Anonymous or some rehab. I’ve drank too much. Now, I’m seeing things.”
He put the bottle in the nearest trash can and walked off.
++++++
Jim and Jan were putting the finishing touches on the displays when Marty and Jennifer entered.
“Marty.” asked Jennifer, “Was I really acting like Red when I was drunk?”
“Not really, Jen.” said Marty, “But boy were you a mess.”
They both laughed at Jim and Jan looked at them then at each other.
“Jan.” asked Jim, “Do you see what I see.”
“Yes I do.” said Jan. “And I don’t believe it. Marty and Jennifer back together.”
“I believe it.” said Jim.
“Hey guys.” said Marty.
“Marty, Jennifer.” said Jan, “You’re both back together. How?”
Both lovers paused. Then, Jennifer said “I forgave him. And besides how do I know he was flirting with you , Jan?”
“You don’t.” said Jan, “Oh Jennifer, that cousin of yours from Italy is going to be over here today with her fiancé.”
“Fiancé?” asked Jennifer.
“Hello, dear cousin.”
Jennifer turned around to see her newly found cousin, Simonetta with someone that she saw before.
“Prince Lorenzo?” exclaimed Jennifer.
The man talked to Simonetta in Italian. Then, Simonetta turned to Jennifer and said “Jennifer, this is my fiancé, Lorenzo de Medici XVI. He’s a descendant of the Medici family who ruled Florence during the 15th and 16th centuries.”
Jennifer shook hands with the man who looked so much like her prince saying “G-glad to me-meet you.” Turning to Marty she whispered “Marty. Do you see what I see?”
“Yeah, Jen.” said Marty.
Then, Jan came over to greet the two foreign visitors.
Meanwhile, Marty said to Jennifer “Hey Jen. Since when did you have a cousin who spoke with an Italian accent?”
“When we went back in time and I gave the real Simonetta a week off.” said Jennifer.
“Geez.” said Marty, “That’s heavy.”
“I know, Marty.” said Jennifer.
“If it wasn’t for my idea of taking you and me back in time to 1978,” said Jennifer, “you wouldn’t had confronted young Jim and led him on that merry chase down the street, he wouldn’t crashed into those motorcycles, gotten beaten up by a bunch of Hell’s Angels.”
“And if that didn’t happen,” said Marty, “He would’ve still been a violent man mistreating Jan and Jan wouldn’t have a gallery.”
“And she would’ve been beaten up.” said Jennifer, “Which meant you wouldn’t been talking to her here last Monday and I wouldn’t have started to get jealous and break it off with you.”
“And Doc wouldn’t have taken us back into time to get us to fall in love all over again.” said Marty, “And you wouldn’t have taken Simonetta’s place which meant Simonetta wouldn’t have time for her husband.”
“And without time with her husband,” said Jennifer, “They don’t have children and this cousin of mine would’ve never been born.”
“Talk about fringe benefits.” said Marty.
Then, Jennifer’s cousin Simonetta showed Jan the drawing that Jennifer first saw when she was in Botticelli’s studio.
It was the prototype for The Birth of Venus complete with the drawing of the two models posing as the winds on the left and the broom lady posing as the Hours on the right ready to clothe her.
“The painting itself was finished in 1485 nine years after the death of my ancestor Simonetta Vespuci.” said this Simonetta, “She died very young. She was only 22. Her only son didn’t get the chance to know his mother very well.”
“1476.” whispered Jennifer to Marty-both of whom where hiding behind an artifact as they were listening in on the conversation, “That’s three years after the week we were there.”
“No shit!” said Marty.
They continued to listen as Simonetta said “It was rumored that someone looking like Simonetta took her place for a week and posed for the painting and then one day she left. But, not before she and the prince fell in love with each other. And when she did leave, he never saw her again. The prince got over it, though. He raised a family with another woman and a good thing too.” She looked at her fiancé saying “If that woman stayed any longer, my fiancé would’ve never been born.”
“Oh Marty.” said Jennifer, “Isn’t that…”
“Hey! Big M. How’s it hangin’ McFly?”
Marty turned around to see that Needle had came in.
“Hey Needles.”
Needles saw who was standing next to Marty and said “I don’t believe it. You and Jennifer back together again after what happened opening night?”
“Yes.” said Jennifer, “So you could forget that dinner date with me next Saturday because it’s going to be a while before I break up with him again, like right after Hell freezes over.”
“Way to go, Jennifer.” said Marty.
“Hey McFly.” said Needles, “I don’t think you’re worthy of having Jennifer and you have to prove it.”
“Cut it out Needles.” said Marty.
“Let’s race around this block in our trucks.” said Needles, “The winner gets Jennifer.”
“No thanks, Needles.” said Marty.
“What’s wrong, McFly?” asked Needles, “Chicken?”
Marty paused for a minute. Then, he said “You’re on.”
Jennifer reached into her purse and took out that CUSCO fax. It still read “YOU’RE FIRED!”
Immediately, she went outside to stop Marty but was intercepted by Doc who just arrived.
“Doctor Brown.” exclaimed Jennifer, “What are you doing?”
“Jennifer.” said Doc, “This is Marty’s decision. You can’t change what’s about to happen.”
“But Doctor Brown…” protested Jennifer as Marty got into his truck and joined Needles’ truck at the red light.
Both engines roared in anticipation of the green light and when it was green, both trucks turned the corner and drove off.
Jennifer broke free of Doc’s hold and ran down to the street corner only to see Marty pull up to a curb and get out.
“Marty.” exclaimed Jennifer, “What was that for?”
“Like I said.” said Marty, “‘He will triumph who knows when to fight and when not to fight.’ Meaning, I’m not stupid enough to race that son of a bitch. Just pretend to accept the challenge just to get him off my ass.”
“I see.” said Jennifer.
Then, a truck carrying bottled water came by and accidentally lost a some water onto the street flooding it. After that, Needles came from around the corner and drove right into the wet stuff causing it to skid and hit something.
“I could’ve skidded into something.” said Marty. He looked at the water that was flowing about and noticed that his side of the street was heading in the general direction of the gallery. “I could’ve crashed into the gallery.”
Jennifer looked at the CUSCO fax again. The word “YOU’RE FIRED” was gone.
“It erased.” said Jennifer. Turning to Doc, she said “Doctor Brown, the
note I brought back to the future. It said ‘YOU’RE FIRED’ again but now it’s
erased.”
“Of course it’s erased.” said Doc, “It’s because your future hasn’t
been written yet. No one has. Your future is whatever you want it to be.”
++++++
In the gallery, Jim, Jan and their two guests went outside to see what the commotion was and saw Needles crash into something looking like a fire hydrant.
Lorenzo turned to Simonetta and said “È la questa America o che cosa?” Which is Italian for “Is this America or what?”
++++++
Needles got out of his truck clutching his wrist saying “My wrist. It
hurts. I think I broke it.”
“Well, serves you right for calling me chicken.” said Marty.
Then, the fire hydrant that Needles struck blew off it’s top and splatterd water all over the place getting Doc, Marty and Jennifer all wet and laughing.
In the heat of the excitement, the CUSCO fax fell out of Jennifer’s hand and onto the street that was taking on water. The water itself floated it into a sewer and onto oblivion.
