Chapter 6
DOC was ready to stab Caesar when a voice was heard. It was Marty's. "Doc." he said, "No!" Doc turned to see him saying "Marty?" At that moment, Brutus stepped in and stabbed Caesar. Caesar shocked at the fact that Brutus was also involved in the plot to kill him gasped out "Et tu, Brute?" "Yeah, Caesar." said Brutus. "Me too. Making meatballs out of you." "That's mincemeat, you idiot." said Caesar as he fell to the ground, "'Make mincemeat out of you.'" At that moment, he expired. The entire Senate was stunned into silence over what had happened. Then, Cinna spoke up. "Liberty." he said, "Freedom! Tyranny is dead." "Go out into the streets", said Cassius, "and cry out 'Liberty, freedom, and enfranchisement.'" The senators got up and fled the building in panic as Brutus said "Stay calm. Can't you see this is for the good of Rome." As the crowd thinned out, Marty burst in saying "Bastards!" "Marty." said Doc. Marty turned to Doc saying "Doc, how could you?" "Marty, relax." said Doc, "I didn't get the chance to stab him." "What did you mean, 'didn't get the chance to stab him'?" "He didn't." said Brutus, "But now, I have a personal score to settle with you, Heston. Or is it Marty?" "What do you mean?" asked Marty. "You caused seventy-five dracmas damage to my chariot and ruined my best toga yesterday, you son of a bitch." said Brutus, "So I'm gonna take it out on your ass." He had his dagger trained at Marty. Marty backed away from Brutus until finally hiding behind Doc. Then, grabbing Doc's dagger he held Doc by the arm and pointed the dagger at his throat. "Nobody move." said Marty, "One step towards us and this man get's it." The conspirators backed away. Marty dragged Doc to the door at knife point. Once outside, Marty let Doc go. "Good thinking, Marty." said Doc. "Thanks, Doc." said Marty. They headed out to the street back to Caesar's house where they would await the return of the DeLorean.

The street were full of people shocked over what had happened in the Senate. It was also wet. Doc explained that there was a strange thunderstorm during the night. "Good thing I set the time machine ahead in time." said Marty, "The last thing either of want to happen is to have that thing struck by lightening." "I know, Marty." said Doc, "But bad move setting time circuits for 10:04 a.m." "Sorry about that, Doc." said Marty. "Here it is." said Doc. They were in front of Caesar's house. "Doc." said Marty, "I hate to say this but the remote is missing." "Relax, Marty." said Doc as he reached in to produce it, "I sleep-induced the servant guarding your stuff and took it with me." "Alright." said Marty. After that, they headed to the side of the house where the DeLorean would make it's appearance.

Calpurnia was grief-stricken as the word of her husband's death. Lorrainia offered her comfort and support. When Mark Antony arrived with the body, he requested the will. Pulling herself together. Calpurnia went to Caesar's study to find it. As she did, a thunderous sound was heard. Another thunderstorm she asked herself. Then a sound of a screaching was heard around the pool. Looking out the window was a strange huge object-like a chariot. It was covered by what looked like ice. Going outside she studied it closely. Then, voices were heard. One of them sounded like Heston. The other Emmettus. "Damn, Marty." said Emmettus' voice, "You sure got this thing wet when you fell in the pool yesterday." "Sorry, Doc." said Heston. Calpurnia reeled back leaning on the strange object. Putting her hand on something, she felt the melting ice. However, she held on long enough to cause it to raise up a side. Looking inside, there were two chairs and strange mechenations in front of them. There was also a round thing on the left side like a wheel. She studied the chairs hand touched one of them. It seemed to move. Looking at a lever on a side, she wiggled it. The chair leaned forward. Then, footsteps were heard. So she got in. Looking at the side of the object, she noticed a handle. Pulling the handle, the side closed. Then, she hid behind the chair leaning foward and pulled it up. Moments later, both sides opened and Emmettus and Heston got in. She studied Emmettus very closely. He was playing with a box that suddenly lit up. On it were words she never seen before. There were also symbols flashing on the box. But there was one word saying "May" like the month that it was named after. Then Emmettus produced something looking like a key and put it on the side of the wheel. A noise was heard. "My past self really did a good job having it refurbished, Marty." he said. That was third she heard him called Heston "Marty". "You sure did, Doc." said Heston. Then, Emmettus pushed a button that was on the same board as the wheel and the box. She felt a lurch as if it being lifted off the ground. Then, a thud was heard. The symbols on the box changed. So did the word "May". It now read "October". There was a window on the side and Emmettus reached below to open it. Then, he held his left hand out and above the window. Then pulling it back in, he said to Heston "I always wanted to do that, Marty." Closing the window he said "Now brace yourself for temporal distortion." "Temporal distortion?" exclaimed Heston. "Yep." said Doc. "We're going back to the future now?" asked Marty. "Yep." said Doc. "What about my napsack, my shoes? What about Jennifer's mother's mod outfit? We can't just leave them there." "Don't worry Marty," said Emmettus, "Once we get back, I'll get some more manure to reload the fusion generator and go back to a point in time where the outfit you borrowed will be dried and pick up that and your stuff." Heston looked at Emmettus saying "You're the doc, Doc." Then, the thing she was in was gathering speed and outside there was a blue flash of light.

Flavius and Septimus looked at the sky where the strange chariot that Emmettus and Heston had dissappeared in a ball of fire. Fire indicated a path as if had it not for that ball, the strange flying chariot would continue it's way. The two guards looked at each other as Flavius was copying the strange gesture that Emmettus made to the two. "Septimus." he asked "Why did Emmettus make a gesture like this?" "Please, Flavius." said Septimus, "Do not copy that gesture. Something tells me that no on should use such a gesture. It might bring anger from the gods." "Of course." said Flavius. They went back into the house to report the dissappearance.

Hill Valley, California
7:30 a.m.
The DeLorean appeared in the sky over Hill Valley. As it did, it was raining. Marty was looking around. "Doc." he said, "It wasn't raining when I left." "It wasn't?" asked Doc. "No." said Marty, "Are you sure, you've set it for the right date?" "We'll find out when I get the DeLorean in the house." Down below was Doc's house. Pushing the button to open the lab roof, nothing happened. Reaching for the remote, he tried it. It opened. Setting the car down in the lab. Using the remote again the roof closed. As they got out, they looked around. There was indeed some unfamiliar objects lying around. Doc turned to Marty saying "You'd better check the 'Destination' and 'Present Date' on the time circuit box." "Check Doc." said Marty. Going back into the car he started to look at the circuits. But something in back caught his eye. Pulling the driver seat foward he saw Calpurnia hiding in back. "Doc." said Marty as he pulled her out in the open, "We've got a stowaway." Doc approached to look at the woman. "Great Scott!" he said, "Calpurnia." "You've got me now, traitor." said Calpurnia very angerly, "Whatever your intentions with me now are, do your worse." Turning to Marty, Doc said "Marty. Turn of your translator." Marty did. As did Doc. They could only hear their unwanted passenger speak in Latin. "Well, Doc." said Marty, "Now we know why Will Shakespeare didn't show her after she lost her husband." "Marty." said Doc, "She can't stay here. We've got to send her back." "What for, Doc?" ask Marty, "What's there for her now that her husband's gone." "That's none of our concern, Marty." said Doc, "I'm sorry, Marty. But what happened to her after her husband's death happened a long time ago." Marty looked at Calpurnia. Then, turning to Doc, he said "You're the doc, Doc." "Doc?" asked Calpurnia,"Why do you call Emmettus, 'Doc'?" Doc and Marty turned to Calpurnia who was right now wearing one of the tranlators that she apparently found on the table where the rest of them were. "Put that back!" insisted Doc. "I am the wife of Julius Caesar." said Calpurnia, "You will not order me around." "Marty!" whispered Doc, "Hold her." Marty did. Doc reached into his toga and produced his sleep inducer. As he did, something fell from Calpurnia's stole. It was a parchment rolled up in a scroll. Doc put his sleep inducer back in his toga and picked up the scroll. Opening it, Doc read it. "Great Scott." he said "This is the will of Julius Caesar." Marty gave Doc a startled stare. Then he asked "How did you know that? Your translator's off." "Marty." said Doc, "Don't you remember your trip to 1938 when you heard my dad tell me to speak in Latin?" "Of course." said Marty, "Jesus. I forgot. Sorry Doc." Then, something smelled and sounds of waterdrops were heard. Doc sniffed. "Do you smell something, Marty." he asked. "Yes, I do." said Marty. Turning to the DeLorean, there was a puddled of gasoline under the car. "On no." said Doc, "The fuel line. It's been ripped." "What does that mean, Doc?" said Marty as he let Calpurnia go. Handing the will back to her, Doc said "It means that we can't take her back now. We'll have to wait until the fuel line is patched up." "Why?" asked Marty. "Because," said Doc, "if we go back now to drop Calpurnia off, we'll be out of gas." "That's no problem." said Marty, "We got Mr. Fusion." "Marty." said Doc, "You're forgetting, Mr. Fusion powers the flux capacitor and time circuits. Like the first DeLorean, the internal combustion of this DeLorean runs on regular unleaded gasoline always has. There are no gas stations in Ancient Rome or anywhere around the world in 44 B.C. and there won't be for the next two-thousand years. Without gasoline, we won't be able to get the car up to 88 miles per hour." "Doc." said Marty, "What about the gasoline in the DeLorean you hid in the catacomb?" "Out of the question." said Doc, "There's only enough gasoline there for my 1956 counterpart to use until he reached an era where unleaded gasoline would be in existance." Marty looked around. The time train and the limousine was still here. Apparently, Clara had already taken the 1956 Doc and Copernicus back to 1956 and returned. "What about the time train?" he asked. "The time circuits on the train and the limousine are not yet configured for 'AD-BC' yet." said Doc. Then, Marty noticed another DeLorean and asked "What about the other DeLorean?" "Marty." insisted Doc,"I only have..." Turning to where the other DeLorean was, Doc said "Marty. Check the time circuits. We've got find out where we are." Marty did. Turning on the circuits Marty read the read-out. The "Last Time Departed" read "March 15, 44" with the LED lights reading "BC" and the time "10:10 a.m.". But, the "Destination Time" and the "Present Time" read "October 21, 2015." "Doc." said Marty, "We're in the year 2015." "Great Scott." exclaimed Doc, "The future." Then a door opened. There stood Clara. Old and hagged. "Emmett?" said Clara. "Clara!" gasped Doc. Then, another elderly figure came in the lab saying "You called, Clara?" The elderly man resembled Doc. The two Docs looked at each other before saying "Great Scott!" and passed out. Marty and Calpurnia grabbed their own Doc as Clara grabbed her own. "This is going to be heavy." said Marty. He tried to revive Doc but to no avail.
