8:30 a.m.
DOC had returned from Pine City after returning the rental to wait at the spot where Marty had left. It still raining and Doc was getting soaked. "Damn." he said, "Where's that kid?" He looked at his watch which was getting soaked as well. "Damn, damn." he repeated, "Damn, damn, damn." Suddenly, two sonic booms were heard accompanied by a flash of light. Looking up, he could see the drops of rain forming the DeLorean which was an indication that Marty had returned from the year 44 B.C. After it landed, an opening of a door was seen showing Marty at the driver's seat. "You're late." said Doc getting in, "Have your forgotten the exact time I told you to return?" Marty was looking at the time indicator on the circuits saying "I swear I set it right this time." "Never mind that now." said Doc, "Set the time circuits for May 4, 1986 12:20 p.m. and the destination location for Hill Valley. Set the map for over my house." "Check, Doc." said Marty. "Damn." said Doc removing his coat, "I'd better take off some of this wet stuff." Marty lifted the DeLorean off the ground as Doc was putting the wet coat onto the back seat. But as he did, he spotted the napsack sitting there and picked it up. Examing the contents, Doc came across Jennifer's mother's mod outfit and Marty's Nike shoes. "What's the meaning of this?" demanded Doc. "Doc, I could explain." said Marty, "Calpurnia invited me in after we got there. I went to Caesar's funeral, and when I came back, she had her servants give me my stuff." Marty gave Doc the translator Calpurnia had. "Here's the translator." Doc gave Marty a hard stare. Then he said "Never mind now. Just get us back to the future." "Right, Doc." said Marty. At that, he accelerated the DeLorean up to 88 miles per hour until it vanished in a brilliant flash of light leaving behind a pair of fire trails.

Hill Valley, California
12:19 p.m.
Red Thomas was staggering down Elmdale Drive listening to a radio broadcast of the weather. "Forecast for tomorrow." it said, "A carbon copy of today with more clear skies and sunny weather. No rain in sight." Suddenly, there was a flash of light and two sonic booms like thunder and wind blowing. "No rain in sight?" exclaimed Red to his radio, "Then, where are all this thunder coming from you crazy drunk weatherman?" Red was looking around for the source of the noise and saw nothing.

Jennifer was stayed behind in the lab with Jules, Verne and Einstein after Clara took the 1956 Doc back to his own year. "Hey Jennifer." suggested Verne, "How about another trip to 1966?" "Verne." reprimanded Jules, "Do you want Jennifer to get in trouble again?" Jennifer was looking at her watch. Lunchtime was almost over and she had to return. Turning to the boys, she said "Jules, Verne. I have to go back. When..." She was interrupted by two sonic booms sounding like a time machine re-entry. "He's back." she said pushing the button to open the roof. As it opened a sound of a DeLorean landing was heard and a breeze was felt. Then, out of thin air the DeLorean materialized as it landed. After Jennifer closed the roof, the DeLorean door opened and out came Marty. "Wow!" he said, "It's good to be back." "Marty." exclaimed Jennifer. "Jennifer." said Marty as Doc got out, "What a sight for sore eyes." They both kissed. Meanwhile, Jules and Verne embraced their father saying "Daddy, you're home." "Jules." said Doc, "Verne. It's good to be back." Einstein came up to the Doc who petted him saying "Einstein, you old devil. Did you miss me." Marty went to Einstein to pet him as well saying "Hey Einey. Look who's back." Meanwhile, Doc asked the boys "Where's your mother?" "She took your other self back to 1956." the said. Meanwhile, Jennifer was looking at the servant's clothes that Marty was wearing and asked "Marty, where's my mother's mod outfit." Marty seem hesitant. Then, Jennifer went to the DeLorean and found the outfit ruined. "Oh no!" said Jennifer, "Oh Marty. Mom's outfit. It's ruined." She started to cry. Marty turned to Doc saying "Maybe you were right. I should've left it there." At that moment, another and loader sonic boom was heard outside. The roof opened, and a huge gust of wind was felt. As the door closed, the time train had materialized. The door opened to produce Clara. "Clara." said Doc. "Emmett." said Clara. Helping her off, Doc kissed her saying "It's good to see you again." "It's good to see you, too." said Clara. Amid all this joyful reunion was Jennifer in tears. Clara noticed this and whispered to Doc "Is something wrong with Jennifer?" "Her mother's mod outfit that Marty borrowed." said Doc, "He ruined it when he went into a swimming pool back in 44 B.C." "I know." said Clara as she went back to the train and picked up a box.. "You do?" asked Doc. Marty also gave her a startled stare as she aproached Jennifer. I "Jennifer." she said giving the box to her, "I've got something for you." Wiping away her tears, she opened it. A smile came to her face as she examined it. Reaching in, she produced a mod outfit simular to the one that her mother wore. "Another mod outfit." she said, "Clara, how did you know?" Doc and Marty looked at her. "How did you know?" asked Doc. "Well after Marty left," said Clara, "Your 1956 self gave me this note." She turned to a table and picked up another parchment. Doc and Marty looked at it and Doc said "Great Scott!" "What is it Doc?" asked Marty. "Marty." said Doc, "Your translater, turn it on." Marty did. Looking at it again, he said "It's from Calpurnia!" Jennifer was getting over her cry when she asked "What's is? Who's Calpurnia?" Clara paused for a minute to think before saying "That's the wife of Julius Caesar." Doc and Marty read the note out load. "'Dear Doc and Marty.'" said Doc, "Marty, she didn't call me Emmettus. And she called you Marty." "Well you see, Doc..." said Marty, "Holy geez, she's did call you Doc." Doc went on to read the note saying "It say's here, that she found the map that you forgot, remembered the outfit being ruined, wrote this note, was accompanied to the catacomb where I buried the DeLorean without telling them why, and stuck this letter in with the rest of the letters. I'm surprised she didn't just take off in it." "It must've been that lecture she overheard last night." said Marty. "Lecture?" asked Doc. "Yeah." said Marty, "About preventing tragedy that's supposed to happen. Y'know." "She heard that?" asked Doc. "Yeah, I learned that the hard way." said Marty. "How's that?" asked Doc. "She talked me out of going an hour back earlier to stop her husband's assassination." said Marty. "Like she just wants to get on with her life and accept what's happened." said Doc, "What else did she leave behind." "This letter to me or whoever would send you, that is the you from 1956 back." said Clara showing Doc a letter. Doc looked at it. "It's to inform whoever tooks my other self back to buy Jennifer a new outfit." he said, "Well not exactly Jennifer, Marty, but your girlfriend. It says 'beloved'." "I get the picture, Doc." said Marty. They all hovered around the note.
Monday, March 16, 44 B.C.
On the outskirts of Rome, Italy
10:30 a.m.
An opening to the catacomb was made. The foreman went to Calpurnia and said "It is ready." "Good." she said. Taking Zemeckisus and Galius with her she told the others to stay behind. She was escorted to a part of the wall that have the inscription "ELB" written on it. "Open it." she said and the two did. "Stay here and don't look in." she told both Zemeckisus and Galius. They did. In the center of the room was a covering. Lifting it, she realized that it was the same chariot that she rode through time. Opening the door, she spotted an envelope. Opening it, she put the letters in then closed the door and covered the chariot. Leaving the room, Calpurnia ordered the two men to close the wall. They did. Turning to the two, Calpurnia said "Under pain of death, you must not discuss what happened here today." After that, they left and then the catacomb was closed.

12:25 p.m.
Jennifer agreed to take Marty home before returning to work. Not having the time to try on the new outfit, she agreed to try it on during her break then call Marty later. Marty didn't have time to change back into his own clothes either but carried them home in his arms and wore his Roman servant's tunic.. After a goodbye kiss, Jennifer pulled out of the driveway and drove back to work. Crossing the garage door, Marty noticed a spray and a wax can on the hood of his truck. Going over to pick it up, he examined it when a voice said "Hey butthead, get away from there." Marty turned to see Biff coming out from behind the truck. "Watch it, Biff." said Marty pointing a warning finger to him. "Marty!" said Biff, "I didn't mean to scare you." "What the hell are you doing?" asked Marty. "Just putting on the second coat of wax." said Biff taking the two cans from him. Then, noticing the tunic Marty was wearing, Biff said "You must be planning to go to a toga party." "That's for sure." said Marty as he entered the house. Once inside, he noticed the family having lunch. His mother turned to him saying "Marty, where have you been? Your lunch is getting cold." Then, the other three noticed what Marty was wearing and Linda said "Marty. Halloween isn't until October." Then, Dave said "Marty. What are you trying to be? Charlton Heston playing Mark Antony?" Marty paused before saying "I've gotta go change." and he went to his room. On his way, he could hear his mother say "George, when we're through with lunch, how about a rematch?" "Why?" asked George, "Because you were cheating." After that, Marty went in to change.

After lunch, Marty went back to his room and went to sleep. Hours later, his mother came in to wake him. "Marty." she asked, "Are you alright?" "Mom." asked Marty, "Is that you?" "It's me, Marty." said Lorraine, "I'm checking up on you. You've been asleep since this afternoon. You didn't come out for dinner. Are you sick?" "No mom." said Marty, "I'm just tired." "Marty." said Lorraine, "You look like you've been gone for days..." "Mom." said Marty, "I'm alright." Then, a knock was heard. It was Linda. She at the cellpone in her hand. "Marty." she said,"Jennifer's on the phone." "Jennifer?" repeated Marty. "I'll leave." said Lorraine going out the door. After handing Marty the cellphone, Linda left. "Yo, Jennifer." said Marty. "Marty." said Jennifer, "The new outfit fits. I've got it home and put it back in the closet. She didn't even notice it gone." "That's great, Jennifer." said Marty. Then, Jennifer's voice said "Marty." "Yes, Jennifer." said Marty. "About Rome." said Jennifer, "Julius Caesar, his wife Calpurnia, Mark Antony, Brutus. You saw them in person. Tell me about them." Marty hesitated. Then, he said "Alright." And started telling Jennifer the whole story about his day.
